[VIDEO] Jason Wu FW 2011 Eye makeup look: Navy Blue & Gold

This was a request from David Diaz at Virtually Stunning. His post on The Makeup at Jason Wu's FW 2011 show really intrigued me and I wanted to try my hand at recreating the look.

I usually like to do the whole face when doing makeup looks but when studying the images of the models at Jason Wu's show, I saw that their faces were pretty bare.

The focus here were really on the eyes (+ the manicure that I have no hope of recreating, check out David's Post to see what I mean) and of course on the fashion.

The lips for the most part were kept natural (I applied a lip balm to keep mine moisturized); the skin flawless and dewy - and so I opted to just do the tutorial on the eyes for this particular look.

For the makeup I used, apart from primer, I used L’Oreal HiP Matte Shadow Duo in Striking and my favourite Sephora palette, that I've mentioned in a previous post.
