Back from the Hiatus! Taking Guest Blogger Submissions!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone's exams went well/going well and that life in general is going great. I write to apologize for the hiatus that I seemed to have found myself in but I come back full force this week with my first set of in depth reviews, a make up tutorial/look, and info on my exercise/fitness/diet regime!

The Independent's Guide to Independence ep1: Pantry Essentials

 

First, I apologize for the short hiatus! I've been moving houses and so getting everything ready, getting internet, moving furniture...For anyone who's ever moved before you know how it's always an epic battle against your own sanity.

Now on to the article! One of the universal signs that you're independent is that you have to feed yourself. I wanted to cover this article first, before I posted any recipes. It covers some definite staples that everyone should have in their pantry. Though a lot of the article may focus on those with a lower budget (ahem, students) I want to focus on items that are basically the foundation to any good meal, regardless of your culinary tastes or expertise.

2011

It's a new year and for lots of us that means several different things but most of us see it is as a marking of a passage of time: The turning to a new page, a new chapter...

So what does 2011 have in store for you? I know we can never tell, but, what do you want out of it?

This year, above all else, I'd like to be braver. That's my new year's resolution.
